Lemonade Fruit Cubes

While making my first batch of homemade lemonade, I decided delicious wasn’t enough this time.  I needed cute too!  What could be more perfect on a hot summer day than a mason jar filled with delicious fresh squeezed lemonade topped with fruit and served over ice?  Clearly making the ice cubes from the berries and lemonade you just made!

It is so simple, all you need is:

  • a batch of homemade lemonade (find my recipe here)
  • an ice cube tray (or because I am disorganized and couldn’t find mine, a stand in like the mini muffin tin I used)
  • and berries.
First you’ll want to cut the berries if needed.  I only cut my strawberries but left the blueberries and raspberries whole.
Next put them into the cube compartments, like so:

Fill with lemonade flavored to match the berry.  Freeze for 2 hours or until solid.
Pop out, fill a glass, top off with lemonade and serve.

Perfect summer drink coming right up.

What is your favorite way to garnish a cool summer lemonade?
